First moment of enlightenment
I'm an avid cyclist and yogini, so I spend a lot of time in my head and alone. But ten years ago, after several losses, I got into a bike accident. I began to question how I was living my life. Was it a life that I had created or was it my (then) husband's, kids', parents', friends', and my own unrealistic expectations. Also: I've been a seeker my whole life and always curious.
F*ck this shit moment
During the process of leaving my marriage, I began graduate school. The first year was hard, so hard. But I took a semester off to breathe and get healthy, and I feel more grounded.

Truthfully, my divorce. It was a two-year unraveling that had begun 10 years earlier. Looking back, I can now see how poor of a match we were. I think we all give our all to relationships.
